Sprachschule.org is an editorially run information portal for people learning German who are looking for a language course in Germany. We help you find the right school — whether you're building A1 foundations or preparing for C1 certification.
Why this portal?
Anyone arriving in Germany from abroad faces a flood of information: visa requirements, course formats, accreditations, price ranges. Official sources like the BAMF or the German Foreign Office answer fundamental questions, but they don't help you compare specific schools. Sprachschule.org fills exactly that gap.
The portal grew from the observation that reliable, verified information about German language courses — across multiple languages — was rarely available in one place. We set out to document schools systematically and verify their details.

How we verify schools
Every school listed in our directory goes through a multi-step verification process: we check addresses and contact details, verify accreditations (e.g. membership in recognized language associations), cross-reference the advertised course levels with official certification programs, and evaluate available ratings. A school is only included once all key details are confirmed. The complete methodology is described on our Methodology page.
Editorial team
The editorial work is carried out by three specialist ressorts: Language & Learning, Migration & Bureaucracy, and Life & Experience. Each ressort brings domain depth to its subject area. The Editorial team page introduces each ressort.
